Schuller Melany 1-light pendant ceiling lamp, satin copper and black, Ø37cm 12500

The Schuller Melany pendant ceiling lamp: satin copper and black in perfect tension

The Schuller Melany pendant ceiling lamp builds its character on the duality of satin copper and matte black: a warm finish that reflects light with a metallic softness, contrasting with the firmness of the black metal structure. With a diameter of 37 centimeters, its bulb (up to 20 W) projects light exclusively downward, so that when suspended over a dining table or kitchen island, it creates that circle of visual warmth that brings people together around the illuminated point, without diffusing toward the ceiling. The formal language of the Melany belongs to the intersection of vintage and minimalist: clear shapes, without superfluous ornaments, which work just as well in an industrial interior as in an apartment with contemporary lines.

Recommended rooms

• Living room / Dining room: Suspended at the correct height above the dining table, the Schuller Melany defines the room's social perimeter with its concentrated, downward cone of light. The 37-centimeter scale and the satin copper finish give it enough presence to become the decorative centerpiece of the living room without competing with the rest of the furniture.
• Bedroom: As a pendant over the bedside table instead of conventional wall lamps, the Melany frees up surface area and adds a warm visual temperature to the bedroom, consistent with a vintage style. The black metal in the structure anchors the design so that the overall look is not excessively ornamental in a space designed for rest.
• Kitchen: Over the kitchen island or bar, this Schuller pendant lamp directs the light from its bulb (up to 20 W) directly onto the workspace and gives the room a decorative identity that goes beyond pure function. Satin copper ages gracefully in environments with moderate heat, which cannot always be said of lacquered finishes.
• Office / Studio: On an industrial or Nordic-style desk, the Melany's satin copper adds visual warmth to a space that would otherwise be cold under homogeneous lighting. A single, well-placed pendant ceiling lamp defines the atmosphere of a study where the design of the space matters just as much as productivity.
